Video game episode YES! And episode 1 of 3 from last week. I was kind of overwhelmed with greatness that a lot of this is just sentences of things I enjoyed. If you watched this I don’t need to remind how emotional these episodes were.
Basis of this episode is that Pierce’s (Chevy Chase) father decides he wants to settle who inherits the wealth through a video game system. Because Pierce in the past said moist towelettes would be a thing of the past and video games are the future (clearly he was wrong because where are arcades today)?
Levar Burton should’ve been Pierce’s 7th friend.*Snicker* Salt and Pepper short and curlies.Getting a Tron like vibe here.
Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne. Ah I caught the insufficient friends part.
Troy jumping around hyper actively in the background, God I still do that with characters and I’m trying to figure something out.
Piercinald running into walls and digging holes to die of suffocation is great.
Troy and Jeff fighting each other randomly, nice touch.
We can pick stuff up? This game is more complicated then you think.
Most frustrating thing about video games is dying and ending up at the past save stop and running through everything again (it gets easier), love how they always end up in the study room.
Abed would fall in love with a video game girl, love when she mentions her father being a blacksmith.
Troy stacking bottles on the barkeeps head.
(Note: I had to pause because I was laughing so hard)
Britta trying to access the potion and dying in the process happens to me all the time.
Ah Pierce’s half brother, but wait, he’s half-white.
Jeff’s speech about dying and being reborn making them heroes, that’s why I play video games!
Baby Abeds are adorable. Troy being jealous, even more so.
Pierce showing compassion was a real sense of growth and I love that his character did that.
Family can make a person do crazy things. Truth.
Troy and Abed and the Baby and dividing up responsibility so quickly, I just, these guys. My emotions!
The baby voiced, cool cool cool. Money.
Loved this episode of Community so much it truly is for the geeks and fans. And if this were the final season this first episode, I’d be ok with it. So much laughter!
