San Diego Comic-Con 2012: Hopes & Dreams

Hey guys! The TV Sisters will once again be covering everything Comic-Con in San Diego next month. And since TV panels are starting to be released, here are a few of our hopes and dreams for this year’s Con.

  • It’s already been confirmed that FRINGE will have it’s final Comic-Con panel ever (tears!!) on Sunday, July 15th. I think I already have a seat in Hall H for that one.
  • Last year, we attended the ARCHER panel thanks to super-secret special passes from Adam and it was on my list of Top Moments of the whole Convention. It’s rumored that there’s a small possibility there will be an ARCHER panel this year. *fingers crossed*
  • Last year we sat in Ballroom 20 for the empty hour long slot when the BONES panel was cancelled last minute. This year, it’s gotta happen!
  • As far as autographs go, we struck gold last year by getting DOCTOR WHO, ARCHER, MERLIN, etc. This year, I’m focusing on getting FRINGE autographs if it’s the last thing I do.
  • There’s a Joss Whedon action figure. I want one.
  • We managed to get a sweet room in the Hilton, which means mid-day naps and late night parties with celebs. Plus, I won’t have to lug around SWAG all day. #SDCCproblems
  • Last year we met the lovely Zachary Levi at NerdHQ. Can’t wait to see what fun panels they have planned for this year!
  • Hope to catch some more previews of upcoming creey pilots like 666 PARK AVENUE and ZERO HOUR
  • A photo with Joshua Jackson would trump all else
  • A Nathan Fillon sighting is expected

As far as films go…

  • Some footage from IRON MAN 3…or just Robert Downey Jr. AND Gwyneth Paltrow.
  • Marvel stuff in general

Will continue to post updates as more announcements come in!

Heather is a recent West Coast transplant and can't remember what humidity feels like. She spends most of her time (& money) watching movies, marathoning TV shows on DVD, attending concerts, reading, eating vegetables, attending conventions (San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, Dragon*Con so far!), blogging about her quarter-life crisis, downing coffee and traveling the world. She likes comic books, photography, reading on the Metro bus and wearing cold weather clothes despite the actual temperature in Southern California.
